Can a Folding Phone Bend Both Ways?! - Bend Test!

Does the worlds first folding phone bend both directions? The Royole Flexpie is the worlds first folding smartphone that you can actually buy today. So its time we see how flexible it really is. Royole has been working on this SUPER thin flexible display for quite a while. We know that Samsung had some major hurdles when releasing the Galaxy Fold. Will the same poor build quality and weak durability issues haunt the Flexpie? The only way to find out is with a JerryRigEverything durability test to see what this folding phone is made from. What level does the screen scratch at? Can the Flexpie be squeezed and still survive? Can a Folding phone bend both ways? Would you ever buy a folding phone?

Being that the Flexpie 2 just released, I'm just discovering this video of the durability of the first Flexpie. This is well done and rather convincing! Think you might do the same durability test with the Flexpie 2? I'm sold either way because I personally like this format factor over the Samsung Fold 1 or 2. 👍

I would much rather the screen be folded inward with the outside of the phone protecting it.

I am wondering just how long these folding phones last. I can just imagine them filling landfills or floating around in some ocean in the near future. I just can't imagine a flexible display such as that lasting a meaningful length of time. Not everyone wants to buy their phone every six months.

Jerry should take his “used” products back to the store to see how much he can get for them despite their quality. I’d love to see the reaction.

The wide hinge is genius. Wish Samsung did something similar, it really minimizes the crease

I definitely wish you did a small drop test on it before you folded it. You really made me curious how it reacts to blunt force.
